NSS continues to grow and expand its capabilities. Since its formation in 2002, NSS has now added more than 100 new staff to meet the needs of its customers. Looking to the future, NSS will continue to:
- Strengthen support to the nuclear industry in all aspects of plant operation, outage support and refurbishment
- Provide support for new build ensuring that Canadian industry has the best options available
- Develop resources to meet the needs of the nuclear industry for the long term, and providing support to operations for the life of the CANDU fleet
- Growth in the non-nuclear sector based on NSS core skills and capabilities
